What will it cover?

The aim of this workshop is to provide attendees with an understanding of some of the practical and theoretical tips they can adopt to support themselves and others.

The training aims to cover:

  • How to have difficult conversations about mental health
  • How to actively listen
  • How to signpost people to support
  • The responsibilities of a mental health supporter
  • Looking after your own wellbeing and resilience

There will be breaks throughout the training course and the tutor will send all of the training content after the course, including any resources, references and training slides.
