What will it cover?

Depression is one of the most common mental health conditions and one of the world’s leading causes of disability. We all experience low mood and depression symptoms from time-to-time and it can be incredibly tough and difficult to manage.

This training course will help you understand what causes low mood and depression. It will look at and support you in discovering strategies to overcome low mood and depression.

The training aims to:

  • Understand the causes of low mood and depression
  • Illustrate the relationship between thoughts, behaviour and physical symptoms of depression
  • Reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness
  • Learn techniques to improve the symptoms of low mood and depression
