What will it cover?

Anxiety is one of the most common mental health conditions in the world. We all experience anxiety symptoms from time-to-time and it can be incredibly frightening and difficult to manage. 

This workshop is designed to equip learners with foundational knowledge in how to manage anxiety, providing a deeper understanding of how to support yourself and others.

The training aims to:

  • Identify what anxiety is and what causes it
  • Understand how it affects us
  • Illustrate the relationship between thoughts, behaviour and physical symptoms of anxiety
  • Learn to challenge unhelpful thoughts and adapt your behaviour in anxiety provoking situations
